Alison Pill
Pill was a producer in her native Canada which took some time before she entered productions in the American market. Bruce Gray starred on an episode on the Canadian show Traders. Pill got a role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation starring Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey, Michael Ensign, Michael G. Hagerty, Naren Shankar and "Would have, could, shoulda". Following her appearance with Picard, Pill appeared in the lead role of the well-loved science fiction miniseries Devs (served by the digital the VFX company Double Negative) produced by FX Productions for Hulu, just like her role in Picard she was in every episode while playing a very similar part as the scientists "Katie". The similarity with Picard wasn't over there. As revealed earlier in that same year, the main theme of Devs revolved around the ability to keep consciousness within an artificial construct. This was the case with Data and Data too.
